Dr. Lipsky graduated from New York University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Albert Einstein School of Medicine-Jacobi Hospital and his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Harvard University-Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Dr. Lipsky is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is proficient in the treatment of a broad range of gastrointestinal and liver diseases including GERD, Hepatitis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis), Gastroesophageal reflux disease, Barrett’s Esophagus, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). He is involved in the acute and chronic management of diarrhea, constipation and bloating, diseases of the gallbladder, pancreas, and liver, and in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal cancers (e.g. Stomach Cancer, Colon Cancer, Pancreatic cancer). Among the procedures available in his practice are Upper Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Polypectomy, and Endoscopic Mucosal Resection, esophageal manometry, capsule endoscopy, fecal microbial transplantation, management of gi strictures, and spectrum of breath tests including evaluation of gi tract dysbiosis.
Dr. Lipsky is an active member of the medical staff of Overlook Hospital, Summit NJ and has been the medical director of the GastroSurgi Center of New Jersey since 1998.
